吐納八式 Tǔ Nà Bā Shì – Eight Breathing Forms Practice morning and evening or before going to sleep. Find a place with fresh air for 10 minutes. 1. 暗香浮動 àn xiāng fú dòng – sweet scent floating from the darkness 2. 彩蝶飛舞 cǎi dié fēi wǔ – colorful butterfly dancing in the sky 3. 春蛾蛻蛹 chūn é tuì yǒng – spring moth breaking out of cocoon 4. 冰消雪融 bīng xiāo xuě róng – ice thawing and snow melting 5. 吞雲吐霧 tūn yún tǔ wù – inhaling clouds and exhaling mist 6. 心蓮開闔 xīn lián kāi hé – lotus heart opening and closing 7. 大樹朝陽 dà shù cháo yáng – big tree growing towards the sun 8. 明珠在懷 míng zhū zài huái – bright pearl embraced to chest End with the tai chi closing pose. Bring your left foot into your right.
